MEN OF FINISHING MILL PLANT SERVICE DEPARTMENT HOLD ANNUAL STEAK SUPPER FOR RETIRED MEMBERS
Dinner Honors Retirees
The men of the Finishing Mill Plant Service De
partment gave their annual steak dinner for retired
members of the department recently at the V-C Grill,
Ridgevi^ay, Virginia. Approximately 4P persons at
tended.
D. S. Archer, master mechanic, invited the retirees
to come back to the mill to visit and to see the many
changes that have been made at the Finishing Mill
in recent times.
Garland Rakes, who was in charge of the arrange
ments for the dinner, called on the retirees for re
marks. George Kingston, B. I. Nance, B. F. Lea and
Everett Chatman responded with brief, informal
talks. Each expressed appreciation for being re
membered by his former co-workers and reported on
his activities since retirement under the Fieldcrest
Pension Plan.
Men now retired from the shop chat with D. S. Archer, master
