Y., a subsidiary of Fieldcrest Mills, Inc., were awarded a Certificate of Merit at the recent annual safety dinner of the Industrial Management Club of Au burn'. Leonard Stratton, chairman of the safety committee, accepted the Certifi cate which recognizes a" 100% safety record during the state-wide'accident prevention campaign of the Associated Industries of New York State. Employees of Nye-Wait celebrated the completion of a full insurance year without a lost-time accident with a brief program held at the mill. H. H. Fonda, executive vice president of Nye- Wait, Paul Bowes, safety director, and Ray Collins, safety engineer of the Em ployer’s Mutual Liability Insurance Company, commended the group. The National Safety Council also pre sented the Nye-Wait employees with an achievement award for reducing dis abling .injuries in 1958. SAFETY PRIZE—II. II.
