''tie Qf that Fieldcrest Mills the first textile companies Credit Union To Pay Another 4% Dividend A 4% per annum dividend for mem bers of the Fieldcrest Mills Credit Union was voted by the Credit Union’s Board of Directors at their regular monthly meeting November 18. The div idends will be figured on the average monthly balances and credited to each member’s share account as of December 31, I960. Tickets Available From Foremen For Children Of All Employees Christmas parties for the child ren of Fieldcrest employees will be held at Spray and Fieldale Saturday, December 10, under sponsorship of the Carolina Coop erative Council. The party for children of Towel Mill employees will be held in the Fieldale High School auditorium at 10:00 a. m. The party for children of Fieldcrest employees in the Tri-Cities is scheduled for 1:30 p. m. in the Morehead High School gymnasium. Entertainment at each party will be by Arthur Smith and The Cracker- jacks from Station WBTV, Channel 3, in Charlotte. These well-known enter tainers have planned a program that will be enjoyable for children and grown-ups alike. Santa Claus will be on hand at each party, and will present a treat to each and every child. D. E. Simons, Council president, said, “We cordially invite the children of all employees, and hope that we will (Continued on page five) Fieldcrest Sales Meet To Be Held At Mi The annual sales meeting of our E’ield- crest sales division will be held in the immediate mill area Friday and Satur day, December 9 and 10. Coming here for the meeting will be approximately 75 persons, including of ficials of the Fieldcrest sales division in New York, and Fieldcrest sales repre sentatives from all over the nation. Also attending will be men from our adver tising agency and merchandising spe cialists. The sales personnel will arrive early Friday and will spend the morning tour ing the domestics mills. Three busses have been chartered to provide the visi tors with efficient transportation be tween the plants. At noon the group will attend a lunch- (Continued on page five)
