Large Crowd Attends Children’s Party At Fieldale This view shows only a part of the large crowd that filled the high school auditorium for the Fieldale children’s party. This youngster’s obvious enjoyment of the show was typical at all parties. Pantomime and dances of “The Littlest Circus” gave delightful entertainment. Santa Claus went through the audience greeting many the children and listening to their requests, as shown here. D. E. Simons, mill superintendent, was master of ceremonies for the party for the children of Towel Mill employ' ees which was held in the auditorium o Fieldale High School at 10 a. m. Sat urday, December 9. The invocation was given by the R®'' Jack Price, pastw of Fieldale Baptis Church. Greetings from the manage ment of Fieldcrest Mills, Inc., wer® brought by C. J. Frank, Jr., director oi industrial relations. In the drawings for door priz®^ among the adults attending, Mrs. dell Koger received a towel set Granville Elliott was awarded a dress turkey. Following a performance by Littlest Circus,” Santa Claus made appearance and passed through audience greeting the children. Santa Claus was assisted by the To^ Mill supervisors in distributing mas stockings filled with candy to the children attending. Towel Mill foremen gave out treats to children.
