Each group spent a day in touring the mill and the new Karas tan Service Center, seeing all manu facturing operations. Making visits here, in separate parties, were the managers of G. Fried & Son stores in New York, accompanied by Robert P. Fex, Karastan salesman; the rug buyer, workroom manager, and members of the sales staff of Straw- bridge & Clothier, Philadelphia, accom panied by C. J. Henry, Karastan sales man; and officials from Willis Wayside Furniture, Norfolk, Va., accompanied by Roger L. Manning, Karastan salesman. The visitors met members of the gen eral management of Fieldcrest Mills, Inc., as well as officials of the Karastan Mill.
