Visiting customers observe a shearing operation during tour of Karastan Mill.
The Karastan Mill was host recently
to the rug salesmen from B. Gertz, Inc.,
a Karastan customer in Jamaica, L. I.,
N. Y.
Rug salesmen from the main store
and branches were included in the
group. They were accompanied here by
Robert P. Fex, Karastan salesman who
serves the account.
The visitors spent a day in seeing the
operations at the Karastan Mill and at
the Karastan Service Center. They also
visited the General Offices building and
the Fieldcrest Store.
During their visit, the Gertz sales
men made the acquaintance of members
of the general management of Field
crest Mills, Inc. as well as officials of
the Karastan Mill.
The visiting customers are shown as
they observe a shearing operation in the
Finishing Department at the Karastan
Mill.
From left to right are Mr. Fex; Victor
D’Auria, Harvey Fineman, phillip
Strauss, Matt Wildau; and Douglas
