Jerry caught the carp when they were fishing in a private pond in the county. Mr. Collins was an overhauler-spin- dle plumber at the Bedspread Mill be fore he took early retirement in May 1962. A veteran of approximately 50 years in the textile industry, he was a section man and an overhauler-spindle plumber in the Bedspread Mill Spin ning Department for 44 years without being off of the payroll for any reason after he started to work in 1918. i T'S ROBERT MYRICK . . . Myrick Wins Berth On All-Conference Team The son of a Smithfield employee has been placed on the Capital Area Class AA all-conference grid team for 1963 as selected by the participating coaches. He is Robert Myrick, a lineman on the football team and an honor student at Smithfield High School.
