The records show that since the Pension Plan was instituted in 1944, a total of 1,189 employees have retired with a pension for life paid for by the company. Of this num ber, 845 are now living and drawing monthly pension checks. Others retiring effective December 1 but who were not available for pictures were: Laura M. Hen sley, Sheeting Mill; Georgia M. Fieldcrest Store Observes Christmas Hours For the convenience of employees, the Fieldcrest Store at Spray is observing the following Christmas shopping hours; 9 a. m. to 6 p. m. Mondays through Thursdays 9 a. m. to 9 p. m. Fridays 9 a. m. to 5 p. m. Saturdays. The store will be closed for the holi days Wednesday and Thursday, Decem ber 25 and 26, and will resume its reg ular hours Friday, December 27. The employee Christmas charge plan at the store continues to be popular, with many Fieldcresters taking advan tage of the convenient arrangement when they do their Christmas shopping. 8 Under the plan, on purchases between now and December 24, employees at all locations may charge up to $50 worth of merchandise and pay for it by pay roll deductions after January 1. Ten weekly deductions will be made on the weekly payroll and two deduc tions (from the January and February checks) will be made on the monthly payroll. Employees using the plan must per sonally sign the payroll authorization card. Also, the 1963 Fieldcrest Store em ployee identification card must be pre sented at the time of the sale.
