C., Friday, January 24, at 3 p. m. 2 The company - sponsored Christmas party for the children of employees of the Mount Holly Spinning Mill was held at the Gaston Theatre in Mount Holly Saturday morning, December 21. The children saw cartoon films and were served free popcorn and soft drinks. Santa Claus was assisted by Richard Howard, Bruce Robinson and Charles Loftin in distributing Christmas stockings filled with candy bars to all the children. Smithfield Party Enjoyed Christmas parties held December 21 for the children of Automatic Blanket Plant employees attracted such a good response that it was necessary to hold two separate shows at the Howell The atre in Smithfield. A total of 560 chil dren and 328 adults attended. D. F. Carson, personnel manager, was master of ceremonies. Following greet ings by R. F.
