At left is Axel Dolan, warehouse supervisor, who has just completed 30 Muscogee Reporter Mildred Newsome has been appoint ed The Mill Whistle reporter for Mus cogee Mills, a unit of Fieldcrest Mills, Inc., Columbus, Georgia. Muscogee em ployees are invited to send pictures, in formation for news stories, and buy- sell-swap items to Mrs. Newsome who will pass them on to The Mill Whistle. A native of Geneva County, Alabama, Mrs. Newsome attended high school at Slocomb, Alabama, and Truman-Smith Business School, Columbus, Georgia. She is married to Fred Newsome, formerly a Muscogee employee. Mrs. Newsome lives in Phenix City, Alabama, and attends Girard Baptist Church there, serving as associate su perintendent of the nursery and as as sociate secretary of the Woman’s Mis sionary Union. years of service.
