MARVIN S. FRAZIER 45 Years Two awards for 45 years of continuous service and one for 40 years have been presented to employees thus far in May. Receiving recognition for 45 years were Marvin S. Frazier, of the Bed spread Mill, and Lelia A. Roberson of the Towel Mill. Allen Curry, of the Bedspread Mill, was honored for his 40- year record. Miss White, a member of this year’s graduating class at Central High School in Phenix City, Ala., won first place and a cash prize in the contest held in Phenix City and was second place win ner in the district finals at Alexander City, Ala. Mr. Frazier is a native of Rocking ham County and was first employed May 1, 1919 at the Athena Knitting Mill. He became a weaver at the Bedspread Mill in 1921 and has continued to work at the Bedspread Mill. He was a warp tier 1941-1951 and since 1951 has work ed as a tie-in operator. Miss Roberson was born in Patrick County, Va., and has worked at the Towel Mill continuously since May 6, 1919. She first worked in the Cloth Room and was a trimmer for many years.
