Blood Program ‘Rescned’; 383 Pints Givei* ? Norman Youngr, co-chairman of the Blood Program is a regu lar donor. Here he has his blood pressure checked by Christine Richardson, a nurse from Morehead Hospital. One hundred and sixty-eight Fieldcresters, from all of plants and offices in the Tri-Cities, donated blood at the ly-successful “Operation Rescue” May 12, doing their the community-wide project to save the local Blood A total of 282 pints of blood were collected, exceeding goal of 250 pints and eliminating a long-standing defied* blood donations in the local area.
