Steagall Receives Honors At State Colle|^
DARRELL, C. STEAGALL
Darrell C. Steagall, Fielderest Schol
arship recipient, is making an out
standing record at North Carolina State
College, where he is majoring in textile
management.
He has been elected to the highest of
fice in the School of Textiles, that of
president of Tompkins Textile Council,
the students’ governing body in the
School of Textiles. He stepped up to
the presidency from the office of vice
president which he held in the 1963-64
school year.
Just before the end of school this
year Darrell was tapped into Blue Key
national honor fraternity which “rec
ognizes character, scholarship and serv
ice, placing equal emphasis on leader
ship in campus student activities.”
Darrell is co-editor of the TEXTILE
FORUM, a technical textile magazine
published by students in the School of
Textiles for the textile industry and
which has a circulation of ove

He has served as vice
