He said 1964 Would be some $130 million and g ^ in 1965 the company would have fist the s? tiol .^^^ductive capacity of $160 million, ^'ieldcrest Mills has become a na- '*^^Uy known company in volume, type products and service to customers,” He said Fieldcrest domestic products have been changed from primarily sta ple goods in 1939 to our present highly- styled products and that this upgrading of style and quality and innovations in merchandising have made a tremendous impact. Mr. Harris congratulated the 25-Year Club members and expressed apprecia tion for their steadfastness and loyalty through the years and their important contributions to the success of the mills. J. P. Powell, manager of sheeting op erations, was master of ceremonies for the program held in the auditorium at the Leaksville - Spray Junior High School. H. T. Bundy, manager of blanket operations, extended the welcome and J. R. Baker, superintendent of the Bleachery and Finishing Mill, presented the new members. Entertainment was provided by Ron and Ray Blackwell, brothers who sang folk songs. Ron Blackwell is employed in the Data Processing Department at the General Offices. In the drawings for attendance prizes, conducted by Glenn Simpson, general foreman at the Finishing Mill, a wool blanket was awarded to Burton Haynes, of the Finishing Mill, and a Creslan blanket to John W. McCollum, Bleach ery. Matt Broadnax, 74, retired from Spe cials Department, was awarded a print ed sheet gift set for being the oldest member present, C. Z. Roberts, retired from Finishing Mill, was presented a scalloped sheet gift set for having the most grandchildren, 27. After an invocation by the Rev. J. K. McConnell, a luncheon for the 25-Year Club members was served in the school cafeteria.
