100 Per Cent Of Employees Enroll For Insurance
Employees of the Alexander Sheeting
Mill, Forest City, and the Worthville
Sheeting Mill, Worthville, signed up
promptly for the insurance programs
available to them as Fieldcrest em
ployees.
When the insurance was offered to
them after the purchase of the plants by
Fieldcrest Mills, Inc., 100 per cent of
the employees at both mills enrolled in
the plan on the day of the announce
ment.
Included are group life, accidental
death, dismemberment and dependent
life insurance, accident and health, and
hospital-surgical insurance.

Karen Dudley Joins Fieldcrest
Karen Barrett Dudley has joined the
Fieldcrest Marketing Division in New
York as fashion promotion manager,
succeeding Margaret Murchison who re
signed earlier this year.
Miss Dudley has an extensive back
ground in fashion and the editorial field
and headed her own photographic styl
ing firm immediately prior to coming
with Fieldcrest.
Previously she had been photography
editor for the Ladies Home Journal and
had held similar posts with Glamour
and Cosmopolitan magazines.
She was bom in Middleburg, Va., but
now lives in New York City. She has
traveled over much of the United States
on various business assignments and
lived in Europe for several years. She
speaks French, German and Spanish.
In her merchandising activities for
Fieldcrest, Miss Dudley will be visit
ing many of the same cities that her
earlier assignments have taken her to.
