Tri-City Construction
Projects Completed
Construction of the new Sheet Finish
ing Mill on the former Union Carbide
property near Draper has been virtually
completed. Other contractors are rapid
ly completing their work on the elec
trical, air conditioning, and sprinkler
systems.
The fences have been completed, the
parking lot paved, and the road from
the plant to the company’s property line
paved. It is expected that the machinery
will be moved into the new quarters by
the end of March.
Built at a cost of $1,500,000, the mod
ern air-conditioned Sheet Finishing Mill
will house the sheet sewing and ware
housing operation now located in the
Nantucket Building at Spray.
In another building project in the
Tri-City area, construction has been
completed on the addition to the Kara-
