Dr. Paul Dudley White To Give Talk Here Paul Dudley White, M.D., world re- nowned heart specialist, will be guest Speaker at the “Hearts and Husbands” program being sponsored by the Rock- *Pgham County Heart Association. White is remembered by many the attending physician to former ^resident Dwight Eisenhower when he Offered a coronary thrombosis in 1955. Dr. White, a founder of the American eart Association, is president of the Int. its ornational Society of Cardiology and research branch, the International ociety of Cardiology Foundation. He eceived his A.B. and M.D. degrees at arvard University, and is now clinical rofessor of medicine. Emeritus, there. He holds honorary de grees in many leading universities throughout the world. The program is designed to teach wives what they can do to reduce their husband’s chance of having a heart at tack. It will be presented Saturday, January 18, at the Morehead High Schoool auditorium from 3:30 to 5 p.m., with no admission charge. The welcome will be made by Earl W. Vaughn, Speaker of the North Caro lina House of Representatives. Also ap pearing on the program will be Dr. Walter Floyd, Duke University heart specialist, and Dr. Ernest Craig, UNC heart specialist.
