“Virginia Partners” Entertain
Following entertainment by the “Vir
ginia Partners”, a string band led by
Troy Brammer, a former employee of
the mill, a number of attendance prizes
were awarded.
Towel sets were won by the follow
ing: Bob Lee Eanes, Homer McAlex
ander and Robert Jamerson.
J. Frank Wilson, retired production
manager of the mills, was recognized
as the oldest member present, 85, and
was presented a towel set.
In a contest to guess closest to the
amount of money in a half-gallon jar,
E. H. Copeland was the winner. He
guessed $237.50 and the jar contained
$234.38.
Elder J. Bruce Clifton, of the Weave
Room, gave the invocation that preceded
the picnic supper.

Holly. Miss Kirpalani is a native of 1
dia and now lives in Hong Kong.
Clemmer, an accounting clerk at
Holly, took Miss Kirpalani on a tour
the mill.
