Booth Celebrates Birthday With Children And Grandchildren Willis M. Booth, center, in the photo at left above, is shown with his children at the celebration of his 62nd birthday. Mr. Booth is employed in the Wool Card Room at the Blanket Mill. His sons are Ronnie, a weaver at the Blanket Mill; James, a loom fixer at the Blanket Mill; and Carl, in the Main tenance Department, also at the Blanket Mill. GARNER Morrison Children ,1'- i- ■ '' Two supervisory changes have been announced at the Winchester Spinning Corporation, a Fieldcrest subsidiary, in Asheville. Norman C. Hopkins was appointed foreman of the Twisting and Reeling Departments and Charles R. Garner was named assistant foreman, second shift, of the Twisting and Reeling De partments. Mr. Hopkins was transferred to the Asheville plant from the Karastan Spinning Mill in Greenville where he was assistant foreman of the Twisting Department. Prior to his Greenville as signment, Mr. Hopkins was a super visor at the Blanket Mill in Eden. He is a graduate of East Carolina University with a B. S. degree in busi ness administration. He formerly attend ed Patrick Henry College at Martins ville, Va. Mr. Garner recently joined Fieldcrest in his position as assistant foreman at Winchester. He previously had been as sociated with Dayco Southern in Waynesville as a cost accountant and production supervisor and Stencil Aero nautical Engineering, at Arden, as pur chasing agent. Mr. Garner also played professional softball for three years with the Champions of Canton, the winners of numerous professional championships. He graduated from Evergreen Senior High School in Seattle, Wash, and at tended Columbia Basin Junior College in Pasco, Wash. Pictured above are Kevin Devon risen, 20 months old, left, and BobM Ray Morrison, eight months old, sons Mr. and Mrs. Robert Morrison of Ed®®' Mr. Morrison is a weaver at the Bs® spread Mill, and Mrs. Morrison thy) is a magazine filler at the Be®' spread Mill.
