K. W. Foddrell, foreman of the Sewing
Department at the Sheet Finishing Mill,
has been appointed superintendent of
that mill effective April 1, replacing
W. A. Galloway who has resigned ef
fective March 31.
A native of Eden, Mr. Foddrell work
ed in the Karastan Rug Mill for a time
but resigned tO' enter the Air Force. He
served almost four years and then en
rolled at High Point College where he
received his B. S. degree in business
administration in 1962.
He rejoined Fieldcrest Mills after his
graduation and became a supervisory
trainee at the old Bleachery (now Sheet
Finishing Mill).
He was an assistant foreman in the
Sheet Sewing Department 1963-69 and
was foreman of the Packaging Depart
ment at the Sheet Finishing Mill for
approximately 1% years prior to be
coming foreman of the Sheet Sewing
Department in 1967.
