In the fall, St. Marys will sponsor
a radio show hostessed by Arlene Fran
cis, nationally known radio and tele
vision star. The Mill Whistle will pub
lish full details of both the radio cam
paign and pianned television publicity
in future issues.

Private Chumley Wins
‘Sharp Shooter’ Medal
Private James M. Chumley received
his boot training at Parris Island, S. C.
where he won the “Sharp Shooter”
medal. He is now at Camp Lejeune to
complete his training.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James
E. Chumley of Eden. Mr. Chumley is
employed in the Sheeting Mill Carding
Department.
