United There Is Little That We Cannot Do ’ So Much For So Little Are you one of the many who will pledge his “Fair Share” to the United Fund this year? If so— YOU will help to provide organized recreation, fellowship and char acter-building programs for our children through the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and the Boys Club. YOU will help through the Red Cross to give assistance to service men and their families; to collect blood to save the lives of the sick and injured; and ta relieve suffering and hardship caused by disaster. YOU will help the Rescue Squad to render assistance in automobile wrecks, drownings, fire and almost all types of accidents. YOU will help to provide classes, special activities and summer camp for retarded children. YOU will help the Salvation Army give aid to the neglected. YOU will help to provide community fellowship and recreation for both sexes and for all ages through the local YMCAs. YOU will help to support the Children’s Home, the USO, the United Medical Research Foundation of North Carolina, the N. C. Association for Mental Health and many other services through Carolinas United. Also, by contributing to Carolinas United through the United Fund, separate drives by numerous state and national organizations are avoided. Look around you. You cannot help but see that by giving your “Fair Share” you are making an investment with enduring benefits in your community and in your state. Copyright, 1970, Fielderest Mills, 1"“' Eden, N.
