New Shift Foreinan Hilda M. Barefoot has been promoted from coordinator to shift foreman of the Wiring Department at the Automatic Blanket plant, in Smithfield. The an nouncement was made by R. F. Samble- son, division vice president and general manager of the Automatic Blanket plant. A native of Johnston County, Mrs. Barefoot joined Fieldcrest in May, 1963, as a blanket boxer. She also worked as a box assembler, a clerk in the Packaging Department, a final inspect or and assembly area coordinator. Mrs. Barefoot and her husband, Earl Ray Barefoot, live in Four Oaks. HILDA BAREFOOT Know Your Benefits Q. How long does Fieldcrest group insurance cover my children? A. Children are entitled to depend ent benefits from birth. After 14 days from birth, they are covered by all ben efits, including Dependent Life Insur ance, until age 19. Unmarried children who are full-time students are eligible for benefits until the last day of the month in which they become 23 years of age. Q. My husband and I both work at Fieldcrest. Does his Family Plan group Insurance cover me and our children? A. No, it does not cover you. While your husband’s insurance covers him and the dependent children, you are not included because a person work- ' ing at Fieldcrest and eligible for the insurance is not considered a dependent. You would need to take the single cov erage in order to have insurance your self.
