Bedspread Finishing Wins District Championship
The Bedspread Finishing Mill soft-
ball team, runners-up in the Fieldcrest
YMCA League, defeated Carolina Con
tainer of High Point and Blanket Ware
house to become District Industrial
League champions.
Pate Carter, Bedspread Finishing
Mill pitcher, was voted Most Valuable
Player for the tournament which was
played at Duke Power Field in Eden,
July 30 and 31.
