Richarcison joined Field- crest Mills, Inc., effective February 7 as assistant director of security. He will report to Rufus R. Beaver, director of security, in all areas of the security pro gram being developed by the Company. Mr. Richardson completed almost 30 years of service with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. His most recent as signment was as special agent super visor at FBI headquarters in Washing ton, D. C. He previously served a tour of duty as a special agent in Greens boro, where his territory included Eden and Rockingham County. He is married and has two sons who are students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has already moved his residence to Eden. Howard e. richardson Radio Time Changed The Fieldcrest radio program over Station WLOE, Eden, previously heard at 3 p.m. on Sundays, is now being broadcast at 5 p.m. each Sunday. tember, 1969. Carter has been promoted from shift foreman in the Piece Dyeing Department at the Blanket Finishing Mill to superintendent of that depart ment. He replaces Eugene Purcell who retired under the Pension Plan. Mr. Carter, a native of Eden, was first em Toyed at the Karastan Rug Mill in 1941 but left in 1943 for service in the Navy during World War II. He returned to his former job at Karastan after the war but resigned in 1947 to go to col lege, later receiving his B. S. degree from Western Carolina University. He was re-employed at the Karastan Mill in 1952 as a dyestuff weigher in the Dyeing Department. He subsequent ly was promoted to second hand and then to shift foreman. He was trans ferred to the Blanket Finishing Mill Piece Dyeing Department as shift fore man in July, 1971. '^NDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 1972
