The editor’s name was not given but the paper was printed by the Eagle Printing Company of which Buck Dar lington was manager. A special edition entitled “Illustrated Industrial Edition”, the paper carries write-ups of all the textile mills in Spray at that time. Emphasis is given the six mills of the Thread Mills Com pany, owned by Marshall Field & Com pany, which were forerunners of the present Fieldcrest plants in Eden. The old paper came to light recently when it was given to Elaine Goldston of the Accounting Department by her aunts, Miss Loula Joyce and Mrs. Pearl Joyce Robertson, both of Eden. In addition to the mills, the paper features churches, schools and some of the homes. Leading citizens whose pic tures and write-ups appear include John Motley Morehead, D. F.
