Corry Named Stokesdale Personnel Manager Jesse D. Corry, Jr., joined Field- crest Mills on March 1 as area person nel manager at Foremost Screen Print Plant, Stokesdale. Mr. Corry, counselor at Salisbury High School and Knox Junior High School in Salisbury since 1970, is a graduate of Livingstone College and has done graduate work at North Carolina College and Virginia State College. Prior to his position as counselor at Salisbury High School and Knox Jun ior High School, he was deputy director of the Salisbury-Rowan Community Service Council. Active in numerous community activ ities, Mr. Corry has served on the board of directors and as treasurer and man ager of the Rowan County teachers Credit Union, president of the West Rowan High School PTA, president of the Rowan Chapter of the North Car olina Teachers Association, and presi dent of the Negro Civic League. He is a member of the American Personnel and Guidance Association and the Fed eration of Scottish Rite Masons. Mr. Corry is also a basketball official JESSE D. The cutoff period has been establish ed by the grant committee in order to more effectively evaluate the grant ro- quests. For example, if a course is to begio in January, the application for a grant must be made by November 15 in order to be processed by the educational grant committee.
