Ill Hill I mi II IIIii^ m iiMi IN I Home Economics Students See Two Finishing Mills A group of 18 clothing and textile majors and graduate students in the School of Home Economics at the Uni versity of North Carolina at Greensboro toured the Bedspread Finishing Mill and the Sheet Finishing Mill recently as a field trip in connection with their studies. Dr. Pauline Keeney, professor of home economics, arranged for the tour and accompanied the students on their visit to Fieldcrest. Also accompanying them was Dr. Eileen Francis, assist ant professor of home economics. Preceding the tours, the visitors as sembled and heard talks by K. M- Vaughn, plant manager. Bedspread Fin ishing, and K. W. Foddrell, plant man ager, Sheet Finishing, who described the respective operations and told what the visitors could expect to see during their tours. Michael David Yeatts Michael David Yeatts, four months old, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald D. Yeatts of 407 Patter son Street, Eden. His father is employ ed in the Weave Room at the Kara- stan Rug Mill. His paternal grandfather, Wilmer C. Yeatts, is employed as a qual ity co-ordinator at the Karastan Rug Mill. The an imal had a horn span of 34% inches. Christie Depree Christie Depree Cassell celebrated her first birthday on Feb ruary 14. She is the daughter of Sandra Faye Cassell and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs Johnny Young. Her grand father works in the Spinning Depart ment and her grand mother, Ann, works in the Weave Room at the Draper Sheeting Mill. Christie’s aunt, Joyce Young, is employed in the Office at the Bedspread Finishing Mill. Cassell Michael Rodney Trent Michael Rodney Trent celebrated hiS second birthday on February 16. S® is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael R. Trent. His mother, Glenda, is employed as a lab technician at the Bedspread Mill. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Edward L.
