Hairston has been appointed a shift foreman in the Finishing Department and Herbert L. McNeal, Sr., has been named a shift foreman in the Weave Room. Mr. Hairston first joined the company in 1964 and worked on various jobs in the Weave Room at the Draper Sheeting Mill and in the Napping Department at the Blanket Finishing Mill. He went into military service in 1965 and rejoined the Com pany in 1968 as a tub tender in the Karastan Dyeing Department. He left in 1970 and was re-employed as a shift foreman April 1, 1974. Mr. Hairston is a graduate of Douglass High School and attended Rockingham Com munity College. Fieldcrest eniployejj retirees in the Eden area* be aware of the foi. DONALD R. HAIRSTON HERBERT L. McNEAL. SR. degree served Mr. McNeal is a graduate of Saint Paul’s College, Lawrenceville, Va., with a B.S. in education. He has in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of captain. Before entering the Army, he was employed by the Social Security Administration, Wash ington, D.C., as a service representative. He joined Fieldcrest Mills, Inc., April 16, 1974, as a shift foreman in the Karastan Weave Room.
