m lolumbus, Phenix City 25-Year Club Meets Some members of the Columbus, Phenix City 25-Year Club The Columbus Towel Mill and le Phenix City Plant 25-Year lub held its annual banquet on aturday, October 26, at ieldcrest Mills Lake. The Club elcomed seven new members I its roll, bringing the roster to n official members. R. W. Harris, Phenix City lant manager, began the evening with the invocation. Mr. Harris also recognized the long- service employees. W. S. Ayscue, Columbus plant manager, introduced new members who became eligible for the 25-Year Club. The follow ing included James W. Barnes, Alice Ellerbie, Mahota M. Gray, Joe R. Kimbro, Velma C. Martin, Johnnie L. McLendon, and Betty L. Smith. C. L. Kametches, division vice-president and general manager, welcomed the club members and reported on the past business year at the plant. Employee Honored Pearlis Dawson, center, a fixer at the Columbus Towel Mill, recently received a towel set in recognition of im provements made to the C-11 loom temple. Mr. Dawson, with the assistance of W. L. Dallas, left, superintendent, modified the temple resulting in greatly reducing towel fringe defects. W. A. JNDAY, DECEMBER 2, 1974 Lori Ellison, who celebrated her first birthday October 20, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Ellison. Her mother, Pam, is employed in the Karastan Service Center.
