SENIOR COLLEGE HISTORY CLASS OF ’37-'38 Almost one htindred girls from different parts of the United States assembled at Montreat College on September 3, 1936,^to beglT'thelr duties in the Junior class. The majority of this number was entirely new to our midst, but with a spirit of cooperation and friendliness we embarked upon the tasks set be fore us. Before the year was over, several had been forced for one reason or another to leave the class. This was sad for the rest of us, but we continued our studies and good times as earnest ly as ever, looking forward to th the time vHien we v/ould be in the elevated position of Seniors. There are several events which are outstanding in our memories of our Junior year. During October of that year, the class enjoyed a-"Kid Party” at the Hen’s Club. The main purpose of this party was to make --vis forget that we \7cre away from hom.e, some for the first time and hom.e sick, and to help us to get acquainted with our follo\7 Juniors.
