The High School Music Club were the guests of the College Club on February 2, and enjoyed an excellent program. The members of the French Club have been studying the dress of the different provinces and have some very interesting pictures of the various native costumes. are condemned to die, and how they are saved. Montreat (ZolLege students will remember two things about Mr. Hunter, the “fixit man,” from his humorous chapel program—he likes to tell jokes, and he admires determination; He, maintains that lie has only seven jokes, of which he told us four, prudently saving take advantage of a chance to three so we will ask him back again! !■ Everyone would like to hear those other three, Mr. Hunt- er. Miss Yarnell, at chapel on Feb ruary 6, told an inspirational story of heroes, which she said was a vision of an unknown au thor. The story told of one who imagined himself accompanied by a guide through four rooms in a Hall of Heroes. At the close of the tour, the guide asks the nar rator in the story where ho wants his room in the Hall of Heroes. On this inspirational theme, the story ended. Students Requested To Write Devotionals The Spiritual Life Group of tlie C. Y. F. has decided'to make 'ah- ot^m: dqvp^ional booklet, “Blest Be The Tjjei’’ ^similar to ^th'e’"'one ^m^de, last j^ear. it will have,^’ de votional for every 4ay (^uring^the three summer months, and each girl will be given one when it is finished. The Art Group will make the covers for the booklets, and the advanced typing classes will cut stencils. Everyone is encouraged to write at least one devotional on a topic of his own choice, follow ing the same form that was used last year. It is imperative that these devotionals be handed in before the 20th of February, so we urge each of you to write one and turn it in to either Gladys Goodman or Frances Brown. MUSIC I am tired today.
