Our program, too, must be wholesome and happy as we be lieve that young women should have a good time while they are obtaining a Christian education. We are deeply grateful to you who , have shared in our living endowment. The response has been most encouraging. You know that more and more even the heavily endowed colleges are having to look to their alumni for the support of their liv ing endowment funds. We look forward to having an even larger number of our ■alumnae participating in this. So many of you have responded in such a generous way that we are encouraged to believe that Montreat Girls will bring the number giv ing to this fund far above the average of colleges across America. Our alumnae are our very best help in* recruiting students. We thank you sin cerely for this. You will continue to en courage choice girls to come to Montreat and let us know what we can do to .bring them here. We hope very, very much that you are planning to come to commencement. You would add, much as we eagerly look for ward to having you. Cordially yours, J.
