RESPECT PROPERTY RIGHTS
Help! Robbery! Call the police!!
Had the business office been robbed, you
might have heard this cry. However, it has
not been robbed, so cease worrying.
Our trouble is this: The DIALETTE of
fice has been ransacked. Most likely
through plain curiosity people have been
rambling through the files, not realizing
that this is private property. The DIAL
ETTE office, located behind the sign-out
boxes in Howerton lobby, contains papers,
reports, and other articles of value to the
staff. Recently papers on the staff bulle
tin board have disappeared.
Please give the staff your full coopera
tion and refrain from using the office for
partying purposes. The office is off-limits
to all people except staff members and
girls on telephone duty.
is so near the close of the school term.
Special services will be held on campus
and in the neighboring towns of Black
Mountain, Old Fort, and Asheville for those
who wish to attend. This will not be a
closed weekend should one be fortunate
enough to go home.
Several spring appearances have been
planned for the Montreat College Singers.
Invitations have been received from Shel
by and Gastonia, North Carolina, and
Greenville, South Carolina. Plans are
underway for singing at the Spring Music
Festival, Knoxville, Tennessee, under the
direction of Dr. F. Williamson, founder of
Westminster Choir School, Princeton, New
Jersey. “Thou Art the Christ” will be
presented on WJHL-TV, Johnson City,
Tennessee, on Good Friday. This is an
original drama written and composed by
Mr. Allan Guy and Mrs. Louise Barnhill,
and performed by the Montreat College
Singers.
