LET'S PAY TRIBUTE— (From Page 1) “I searched for love; I searched for under standing; I searched for God, and in my brother I found all three.” To such a person you can’t express your appreciation. She does so much. You can’t explain a person with such depth and sincerity. Average humans fail to grasp the completeness of her. To you, Miss Morris, we the students of Montreat-Anderson would like to show our boundless appreciation. Each time, in the years to come, that we think of Montreat there will be a special place in the hearts for a lady, a Christian, and a friend, who helped to make us. Merci beaucoup for be ing so unique and wonderful. Club News Activities are well under way in the clubs of Montreat-Anderson College. The Cantus Fermus, Music Club, has selected its new officers. They are: president, Lois Lance; vice president, Virginia Beale; sec retary-treasurer, Lynn Conner, and devo tional chairman, Bobby Dillard. At the November meeting, Mary Gayle Haynes was elected club sponsor, and Ann Harbour gave a most interesting talk concerning early Hebrew music. The December meeting was held at the home of Mr. C. F. Hardestine, club sponsor. The Christmas spirit was emphasized through music as well as through scripture. Everyone enjoyed the fun, food, and fellowship. Interama, the language club, is designed to present to its members the many phases of both France and Spain. They are under the guidance of Miss Elizabeth Maxwell. The November meeting, presented by Bobby Dillard, dealt with the contemporary music found in both countries. The club has rm- dertaken the project of making a model French village and also a Spanish village which will show the boundaries between the countries. All who have an interest in languages, although they are not attending a language class, are welcome to join the club. The C. C. U. N. meets once a month on the third Friday. Officers for this year are Brenda Brevard, president; Deanne Hastings, vice president; and Jackie Hege, secretary-treasurer. The beauty sponsor is Miss Margaret Cooper who hails from Cen tral America.
