ART GALLERY TO
OPEN APRIL 15
On April 19 to June 19 the
Montreat Gallery of Fine Arts
is holding its anniversary
exhibition of art. All Pres
byterian artists and sculptures
residing in the Southern states
are invited to enter paintings,
sculptures, drawings, and
graphics. All works submitted
must be for sale. A commission
of 20% will be retained by the
Gallery. Prizes of engraved
silver plaques will be given
for first and second places in
the various categories.
The Montreat Gallery of Fine
Arts is a non-profit organiza
tion sponsored by the Mountain
Retreat Association. This is
the first showing of the Gal
lery and is part of the cele
bration for the Anniversary
ALL-STARS DEFEAT
CAVALIERS
On Saturday night, April 2,
the All - Stars defeated the
Cavaliers 69 ~ 61;, behind the
hot shooting of Danny Lotz,
who played on the North Caro -
lina team that won the N.C.C.A.
basketball championship i n
1997, and made all the all-
American teams in 1999, led
all scores with 22 points.
Montreat had three players
in double figures. Dan Rabon
and Don Patrick had ten points
each but scoring honors went
to Arnold Nicholson with 12
points. The 6*2” high school

College?" Robin says, "There

vehicle around. Batman pulls
up in front of College Hall .
Batman cries, "What is this I
see? A chain gang, washing
windows and picking up trash?
