Page 2 ALETHEIA i Devotional In the Garden In the garden on that day. Our Blessed Savior knelt to pray. With head bowed low, and tear in eye, He asked the Father in the sky -- To keep us with His special love - Till we can join Him up above. How special is our Savior’s love That He should come from above. To this strange and sinning land. To walk among the sons of man. To suffer shame and humility. To die, on the cross for you and me How great a sacrifice Our Father made. So great his love, that His Son gave So let Him not have died in vain. Call upon his precious name. Jesus, Jesus, I believe. The Blessed Son of God, you be. With these words, I know one finds - Forgiveness and Peace of mind. I know one day. I’ll face Death’s dark door. But even this I fear know more. For as my Savior knelt to pray. In the Garden on that day. The Father, said, “By you they’ll come. To me in Heaven, one by one. There they’ll find abiding love - Tears will be no more. And You my Son will greet them each - At Heaven’s open door."
