Ta^ Thru/Ihc Metfieui Get Set for Spring Formal By: Traci Folk Staff Writer O.K., guys, get ready; in just a little less then a month from now the Spring Formal willbehere. This year's dance is being held on Friday, April 12, at the Asheville Civic Center. Last year some students felt that the room used for the Spring Formal was too small. Not this year-according to Student Life Director Tom Hilgers, the banquet room that has been reserved not only has a dance floor, but a carpeted area where you can rest your toes after jamming to the sounds provided by D.J. Bill James. Mr. James came to our campus several times last semester and proved to be a most "boda cious" D.J. Not only will music be provided, but food will also be supplied for the students' enjoyment. As of right now, the food assortment has not been chosen. In order to cover the cost of the banquet room, the caterers, and the D.J., a minimum charge will be re quired of the students. This cost should not exceed more than nine dollars per couple. The tickets should go on sale in 1-2 weeks. Plan now to buy your tickets soon at a ticket booth near you! Grammies from pg. 2 him up to the number two all- time Grammy winner. Lifetime Achievement Award Wirmers for the year included Opera Singer Mar ian Anderson, country/ west ern singer Kitty Wells and rock Bob Dylan and John Lennon.
