Soccer All-American By Joe Hagan Montreat College saiior Crystal Bennett (.'Vsheville NC) has been named NAl.-V Honorable Mention All-.Vmerican in women’s soccer forthe 2001 season. A fonner Ashe ville Christian Academy star, Ben nett’s selection places her among the top 52 soccer forwards playing in the National Association of Inter- Activity Schedule! collegiate Atliletics. During her Ibur-yetir career, Bennett was named All-/Vppala- chian Atliletic Conference twice (‘99, ‘ 01) and was a two-time NAIA All-American Scholar-.-Vthletc. She holds Montreat College records lor most career goals (46) and points (119).
