English majors Nathan King,
Whitney Rayl and Moriah Geer-
Hardwick plan to reorganize the
literary magazine next semester
as an online journal.
King hopes the publication
will “put togetlier good, solid
pieces of literature produced
from the college,’*
The name and schedule for the
new journal is currently undeter
mined. The publication will be
separated into four categories:
poetry, fiction short story, non
fiction short story, and critical
essay.
The three students will serve
as the editors, Geer-Hardwick
for non-fiction, Rayl for fiction,
and King for poetry.
The students will work on the
journal during their one-hour
Literary Magazine Editing class,
where they will review, critique
and decide which submissions
will be published. “The way
we accept-pieces is going to be
democratic,” says King. “It’s riot
just going to be one opinion of
the piece; it’s going to be three
different opinions.”
The team also seeks help with
layout, web design and knowl
edge of HTML.
In the future, they attend to
submit a charter to SGA for
approval as an oflBcial school
organization.
