THE WHF.TSTONP Letter From the Editor; Hey Everyone Nic Gerstung My name is Nic Gerstung and I’m the Editor for this year’s Whetstone! For those who don’t know what the Whetstone is, it is our very own college newspaper dedicated to YOU! I’m also excited for this year and you should be too, we have a great staff this year that is going to be bringing you the latest news, stories, happenings, and information going on in entertainment, politics, sports, and around the world, so be prepared for a bunch of stuff. We also will be covering what we call, the latest “game changer”, at Montreat College, the merger with Point University in Georgia and how it is going to affect students, faculty, athletes, and alumni. The Treat Speaks Courtney Snyder Christian Bale was beloved in the iconic role of Batman. After his refusal to play in the upco^' mg Superman sequel Batman Vs. Superman, fans held their breath awaiting the new casting- Sources tell us that Ben Affleck has been named for the part. There is no doubt that he is talente j with two Oscars and two Golden Globes under his belt. Though we won’t know for sure hoW w Affleck wll do m the part until the release of the movie (rumored to be released in the summe 2015), we still have our opinions.
