While there they attended the Winston 500 at Talledega. Mr. Ray Surratt is a patient in Cleveland Memorial Hospital. Lt. Col. Donald Walker from Acoma, Washington, spent 10 days recently visiting with his brother, Harril Walker, a patient in Crawley Memorial Hospital and other relatives in this area. He came especially to attend his class reunion at Spartanburg Jr. College in Spartanburg. Mr. and Mrs. David Prater and children, David Jr. and Christian, and Mrs. Johnnie Maie Ware spent the weekend in Atlanta, Ga, where they attended the wedding of Mrs. Millie Czogkouski of Atlanta to Cal Sandman from Stone Mountain, Ga. The Greene family held their annual family reunion at the home of Amos Greene on Main Steet Sunday. A large crowd attended the occasion. Mrs. Oris Lipscomb went with her brother, Edward Jones, to Atlanta, Ga. Saturday on a business trip. Mrs. Adelaide umphries from Gaffney, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Greene from Waco and Mrs. Lee Scruggs from Shelby visited Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Moore over the weekend. Mrs. J.R. Greene has returned home after spending a week with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Bridges, Mark and Julie, in Ala. Mrs. Greene went especially to be with her granddaughter who has been very sick but has improved and doing much better at this writing. Miss Edna Hamrick is a patient in Cleveland Memorial Hospital. Mrs. McSwain and Mrs. Davis visited Mrs. Ada Ruppe and Mr. and Mrs. Ishel Gosev in Forest City Friday. Mr. Fay Crowe has returned home afer being a patient in Crawley Memorial Hospital.
