Flint Hill Church Bell At Flint Hill Baptist Church Community By RUBY C. LEDBETTER Miss Anita Eppinger, mis sionary to Haiti, who is on furlough, spent the week with Rev. and Mrs. Ed. Sessom. She left on Monday for a speaking engagement in Wendell, N.C. before returning to her parents home in Pennsylvania. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Hines and Math spend the week-end in Burlington with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ledbetter and Mr. and Durham Ledbetter spent Wednesday through Sun day at the Outer Banks. They went to Mante, saw the museum at Kitty Hawk spent time on Cape Hatteras and Ocrakoke Islands. While in Morehead City they visited with -Mr and Mrs. Rufus Collins. They came back to High Point and had dinner on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Nor man Faircloth, Jennifer and Brian on Sunday. James and Shannon Ledbetter were Thanksgiving guests of the Faircloths. On Saturday at 5:30 the Will ing Workers Sunday School Class will have their Christmas party at the Fellowship building. Their husbands will be their guests. Dale Barlow, a Junior Ministerial Student spoke at the morning worship service. Mr. and Mrs. Otis Bridges of High Springs, Florida and their sons and families of High Springs and Jacksonville, Fla. were holi day guests of Mrs. Nancy Freeman, Charles and Deborah. Christian sympathy is extend ed to Mrs. Glenn Goode and her family following the death of her mother Mrs. Hilda Grass. Mrs. Tommy Kirby, Mrs. Lucille Humphries and Mrs. Pol ly English attended funeral ser vices for Louis Whelchel of Gaf fney, S.C. on Wednesday. Visitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. F.A. Lovelace during last week were Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Wiggins of Mountain Home. Also, Lansford Jolley and Cecil Goode of Boiling Springs visited the Lovelaces during the week. Mr. and Mrs. F.A. Lovelace were Thanksgiving Day guests for lunch at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lovelace of Boiling Springs. Miss Lori Summey of the Pro spect Community spent Friday night with Miss Jennifer Bridges. Mrs. Charles Dobbins and family met at the Community Building on Thanksgiving even ing for a meal together. Those coming from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Dobbins of Greenville, S.C. Mrs. Jerry Parker entered Cleveland Memorial Hospital on Sunday and under went surgery on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Harris, Mike and Chris of Greer, S.C., Joe Harris of Hickory, David Wilson of Shelby along with Mr. and Mrs. Marion Scruggs, and Mrs. Selma Harris were Thursday evening supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Harris, Cheryl and Dawn of Boiling Springs. BROADUS McGINNIS Mrs. Cecile Jolley and Mrs. Linda Smith honored Nina and Pettus Mosteller for their bir thdays in this month Friday afternoon at their home with a beautiful birthday cake, coke and coffee also potato chips. Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Pollock of Charlotte are spen ding Thanksgiving holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Scruggs. Mrs. DB. Scruggs and son Don are spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Gary Walker and children in Florence, S.C., they are helping them move into their new house. Mr. and Mrs. Wofford Scruggs, Melanie and Cliff of Belmont visited Sunday Mr. and Mrs. G.V. Scruggs. Mr. and Mrs. John Compton enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with Francis Fasolino and daughter, Mary. All the children, grand children and great grandchildren of Mrs. Callie Ruppe spent Thanksgiving day with her. They all brought dinner. Mrs. Mae Scruggs is a patient at the Cleveland Memorial hospital. Madison McCraw and sisters spent Thanksgiving Day with Mr. and Mrs. Gene Matheney in Shelby. Ava McGinnis had dinner Thursday with Terry Will ingham and children. Other guests were Mrs. Grade Will ingham and Marjorie Lankford.
