Thank You God For Youth
Thank God for Youth with the
strength to lift,
And the will to serve, and the
heart to ppay;
Thank God for the marvelous won
derful gift
Of Youth today.
There are paths to be straightened
within our land!
’There are darkened ways that have
need of light.
Thank God for the Youth of earth
who stand
Foursquare for right.
There is need for a vison of un
dimmed eyes;
There is need for hands that are
clean and strong;
For backs that are straight, and
hearts that are wise;
For lips with a song.
Thank God for Youth with its la
tent powers;
Thank God for the Youth that yet
many bring
Out of these failures that have
been ours
Some better thing.
If Your Garden
If your garden is not growing right
Take a stock of soil, water, culti
vation.
Don’t blame the seed.
If your machine will not nm
smoothly.
Don’t blame the maker.
Just check the type of oil you use.
If your lights seem dim
Just clean the globe.
Don’t blame the power plant.
When cultivation has been done
right -
Oil of right weight used -
Globes made to shine.
Then just remember that only God
can blame .
and only your God can praise -
Because he holds the canvas while
you use the brush.
