The aver- age valu e of wheat is 69 cents, only three mills higher than the average ast yenr. l he .average tor oats is 40.7 cents, against 29.8 last year. Barley averages 52 2, instead of 53" ast year. Buckwheat, -ob.!, or n cents higher than last year. The cereal averages for the entire country differ very slightly from those of last year, except as to corn.' The value ot potatoes is greatly enhanced; being 68.5 cents, against 40 last year, it is higher than seven years, except in in 1881. ' The value of hay is much increased. It averages $9.34 per ton, against $7.36 lau year. The advance lias been in the drougnt area oi me West. The cotton values are about half a cent higher than in December ast.
