Some of the fans paid the hiked price and went in anyhow, grumbling all the while. Others turned away in disgust. Many of these fans never return ed for ensuing games, and the high school’s fine athletic program suf fered a financial loss of considera ble proportions. What we need to do now—those of us who recognize the great worth of our athletic program, is admit that somebody goofed badly and cost the Bears hundreds and prob ably thousands of dollars in reve nue for the sports currently flour- LOANS No Red Tape, No Endorsers Nor Consignees i^On Any Model Cpr with 1958 License Plates 24 MONTHS TO PAY Courteous and Confidential DIXIE AUTO FINANCE Phone ME 7-5128 Floyd Taylor, Mgr. It may not be pleasant, it may not be easy, but it’s the only way to repair the damage done. As for promotion that will bring bigger crowds, there’s an answer for that too.
