Each of us had reason to remember him pleasantly for one reason or another. However, we think one of tlie nicest things said about him came from a boy who played basketball under him in the kid league at the City Recreation Center a couple of y‘ars ago. ■‘I couldn’t play worth a toot," the little fellow admitted, “but he always let me get into the games. Whether W'e were winning or losing, he gave me a chance.” • No life has been lived in vain, when ,iust one boy—or maybe several—can remember that there Three Bedroom Home Newly Painted. What have you been doing dur ing the terribly hot days? If you're like us, you spent all the time you could in swimming at Trent Pines, the Country Club, or down at the beach. By the way, we haven’t heard very much this summer about teen-agers fishing. They’re doing a lot of boating and xvater skiing, but there doesn’t seem to be a great deal of interest in trying our luck with the finny tribe. We’re probably missing out on a lot of fun. Fishing has been go^d, especially ocean fishing. Could it be that we’re just too lazy to go to the trouble? Please be careful, if you’re going somewhere during the Fourth of July weekend. Traffic will be very heavy, and the National Safety Council is making some awful pre dictions about the number of fatali ties we can expect on highways. Unfortunately, these predictions by the Council are almost always ac curate. And another thing. If you don’t already have a good tan, look out for sunburn. J. W. SMITH AGENCY, INC.
