Soybean Growers Will Have
New Variety for Next Year
North Carolina soybean growers^
will have a new variety to choose
from next year.
Hill, a new soybean variety for
North Carolina and the South, has
been released by USDA and coope
rating state experiment stations.
Foundation seed of the new va
riety is now being increased. The
seed supply for next year should
be good, says Dr. Charles A. Brim,
a rSDA scientist at N. C. State col
lege who worked on the variety.

the Hill has these characteristics:

Hill is similar in appearance and
related to the popular Lee, Spain
