Enjoy the season—the season of the birthday of the Christ Child. Study the decorations in the doors and windows. There are many sym- PHONE US FOR YOUR FUEL OIL Tommy Davis OIL CO. 707 Chattawka Lane MB 7-2250 bols of Christmas that are more than just decorations. A wreath represents eternal life. It is the love of a Heavenly Father that has no ending—it is everlast ing. Any green wreath represents His love. The red represents the blood of His passion for us that gives us the right \o live after death. Candles are beautiful from the windows and outside of the house. They are likened to His spirit—the Light of the world. The flame is His Divine Personality. It lights the path of man. In many sections peo ple use candle lighting ceremonies, and they last for days. The trees in the forest are no ticed at this season, each one is picking a tree. Most all homes will have a tree of some sort. When you put an evergreen tree in your home, it is the “Tree of Life” or the tree of immortality. This represents the Savior of the world. The tree itself »the world. The candles on the tree represent all the people of the world. Some peo- TRIM TRIMMER-^Fay Pittman beams as brightly as the decorations she is placing on her tree. Some have greater ideals. A star played a big part in the guiding of the Three Wise Men to the Christ Child. Lights in shape of stars and designs ate appropri ate for the season. We are still being guided by that star. It rep resents His Sovereignty or ability to guide people right. It is a bea. con for people to live rightly. The angels were present on the Holy Night, so we love to hear the songs the angels sang. An angelic face with a glorious song adds brightness to the season. It is the Birth in song through the ages. Enjoy all the Season with glad ness. May each of you have a Christ mas that Is fUled with love, joy and peace. We close with a favorite carol: It came upon the midnight clear. That glorious song of old, From angels bending near the earth To touch their harps of gold. Peace on the earth, good will to men. From heaven’s all gracious King, The world in silent stillness lay To hear the angels sing. Still through the-cloven skies they come, ^ With peaceful wings unfurled. And still their heavenly music floats O’er all the weary world. Willioms' 66 Ser.
