Development
Egg Products
New developments are taking
place continually at the research
stations throughout the nation. A
number of new poultry and egg
convenience products have been de
veloped recently by one of the
stations.
The products have been aimed
at great variety, time-saving and
ease of use to increase consump
tion of poultry and eggs. Here are
some of the products that will be
tested on the market in the near
future:
1. Frozen French Toast—This

MUSIC IN THE AIR—New Bern High school choir,
girls glee club, and boys clyb present their Pop
Concert Friday night in the modern and spacious
high school auditorium, under the direction of
Donald Smith. The groups have a state-wide repu
tation for excellence. Seen here is the girls glee
club. Curtain time is 8 p.m.
Jean Marshburn and Louise Whitty are pianists
for the girls glee club, while Donna Brent accomr
pinips the boys glee club. Eloise Stilley is the
pianist for the choir.
Solists are Carol Nelson, Frances Fulford, Flor
ence Pollock, Jane Knowles, Jimmy Phillips, Doug
Braddy, Larry Heath, Charles Adams arid Clyde
Gibble, Janeth Hill, Jimmy Leathers, Bob Williams,
and Priscilla Jenkins.
Comprising the boys octet are Jackie Zaytoun,
Nelson McDaniel, Jimmy Phillips, Phil Steiner,
Clyde Gibble, Doug Braddy, Henry Smith and Ikey
Holton.

2. Young Roaster—Excellent
roasters which weigh about 3%
pounds are suited to the family of
three or four, are extremely ten
der and obtained from the heavier
birds of broiler flocks.
3. Kid’s Pak—Twelve small eggs
in a container offered for children.
This pack is aimed at better mer
chandizing of small eggs.
4. Family Pak—Four large eggs
for Mom and Dad along with eight
medium or small eggs for the
children.
